The Introduction of the Story
On January 13, 2025, I’m excited to share a heart – warming story from an Ins yoga teacher. The main character is Alexis, a yoga enthusiast, and her 6 – year – old daughter, Caroline, whom we’ll call little c. Little c is always by her mother’s side during yoga practice, which is incredibly cute.
The Initial Encounter with Little c’s Curiosity
At first, whenever Alexis practiced yoga on her own, little c would have some interesting behaviors. In the downward dog pose, she would crawl under her mother’s head; in the cat – cow pose, she would get under her tummy, trying to get her mom to play with toys or other games. Alexis initially thought little c was just being clingy, but then little c started to imitate her yoga movements, and she did it quite well.
The Reasons for Letting Little c Practice Yoga
Alexis decided to take little c to practice yoga with her. One of the reasons was that she noticed little c had trouble concentrating, which is a common problem among many children nowadays. Through a series of breathing adjustment and concentration exercises in yoga, little c could slowly calm down and her eyes could communicate with her mother, showing that she was listening attentively. This is of great significance as many children struggle with this.
Another reason is related to the health of modern children. Today, kids are exposed to digital products too early, resulting in very stiff body shapes. Many have serious hunchback problems, and yoga exercises can effectively improve these issues.
Moreover, practicing yoga together can create beautiful memories for the mother – daughter pair. It’s a wonderful way to spend quality family time and helps them understand each other better. After all, we are all born of love, and love is like our mother.
Little c’s Love for Performance
Little c is a girl with a strong desire to perform, perhaps it’s the natural love for beauty in every woman. She loves to be photographed. Recently, after learning some new asanas, she asked her mom to take pictures of her in those poses and make them look good.
The Profound Feelings from Yoga Practice
Practicing yoga brings many wonderful things. It makes Alexis feel the connection between the earth and the breath, a subtle feeling that can be sensed when closing the eyes. More importantly, it makes her more connected to her daughter. The happiness that comes from the heart is indescribable. For mothers with daughters, why not try to experience this kind of happiness?
